Das Bergrestaurant in Bad Reichenhall

Wife, daughter and grandson were delighted. When we got there a band was playing. Even though it was very busy, the staff assigned us a seat. A great day in a great restaurant. Gladly again.

The train is ok, the price is relatively expensive. You had to wait over 1 hour as only 2 gondolas went. When buying the tickets, make sure that you also get the access tickets. We had to queue up again because we didn't notice until later. You should reserve your return time right below, otherwise you are bound to free places upstairs and you don't know when you can go down. The Alm is about a 15-minute walk from the mountain station. If you want a little snack, you've come to the right place. It is only about 10 minutes to the top of the mountain. On the subject of parking, please remember to pay at the cash desk, otherwise you walk twice or pay the full parking price. That wasn't great either.

Very nice view and really good food. Be sure to try the beef cheeks. The Kaiserschmarrn should also be great. Price-performance okay - rather in the upper segment, but after all you are high up :) The trip with the historic gondola is narrow but really an experience. Costs per person for up and down € 39

This restaurant is very good. You can eat very well there and you have a wonderful view over Bad Reichenhall.

With the cable car up and down it costs almost 80 euros for two adults ... I think that's too much. The restaurant and the former hotel are getting on in years and could use a change. But the view makes up for everything and it's not that crowded.

The restaurant itself is beautifully and lovingly prepared, the winter garden looks great. However, it is more likely to be used as a winter garden. In the blazing midday heat, after half an hour it is so stuffy and hot under the glass that we had to flee outside. The staff and the food is terrific. The homemade cream puffs in particular were a poem. Prices high but justified.

We only liked the visit to a limited extent. Unfortunately, when the weather is sunny, there are very few shady spots in the "winter garden" or the adjacent balcony. In view of the extremely high cost of the cable car and the few rest stops, this is not a good service. Especially since the corresponding sales will certainly not come about.

First-class food and an amazing view of Bad Reichenhall! This restaurant is a popular place to celebrate your engagement. :) We recommend!!! The Wiener Schnitzel and the drink "Sport Hollandri" are particularly delicious. Thanks to the whole team!

On a beautiful summer day we went up with the world's oldest cable car to walk there and enjoy the peace, natural beauty and views. Before the drop enjoyed a snack and drink in the restaurant. Smooth and friendly service 👍

A great view. You can sit on the terrace with the chairs from the associated table. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. But the prices are not cheap. In contrast to the nearby alp, there wasn't much going on here.

A real Austrian mountain restaurant. We had eaten sausage with sauerkraut and bread. Really a recommendation if you want to eat something up there. Good quality and not expensive. Math Badgers

Restaurant great location, nice staff. However the single trip with the gondola of the Predigtstuhlbahn I found with 23 euros quite overpriced. Especially since you had to queue for about 1 hour to get down ... but otherwise a worthwhile destination.

Short visit. Ordered the classic, Wiener Schnitzel. Perfect. Really well done. Great meat. Great breading, loose, airy, wavy and golden yellow. Add potatoes with a bit of parsley, pieces of lemon and enough cranberries. Satisfied and happy. Service was very nice. Rooms air conditioned. Great view. Directly accessible by historic cable car.

We spent a wonderful day here. When we visited the Predigtstuhl in the fall of 2018, it was being heavily modernized and rebuilt. Nevertheless, we felt comfortable. The decor is in the style of the 50s or 60s and absolutely consistent. So there is not only the outdoor area to discover. You can also indulge in rustic nostalgia. The service is nice and accommodating. The prices are not really cheap, it already beats the expensive gondola ride to book. But for us the day on the Predigtstuhl was definitely worth it.

Very exquisite breakfast with a view! We had visited the mountain restaurant in the morning, there was only breakfast until 11 o'clock. Since it was not so full at the time of day and the season, you were served very quickly. The hot drinks taste very good and are nicely prepared. The food leaves nothing to be desired and is freshly prepared. Due to the time we were able to redeem a voucher for the mountain restaurant, with which we came fully at our expense. The offer of lunch, dessert and cake we could not judge. The interior is very rustic and the outdoor seating is in good weather highly recommended. With it also a very pleasant atmosphere. Anyone who wants to preach will have a great time here and definitely have good food and drink.

Very attentive, friendly service, good cake, wonderful, fantastic view far into the Chiemgau into the Austrian mountains. Small walk despite snow possible and sunbathing outdoors. Ride with gondola sensational. Mountain guide plays while traveling with harmonica. Just great!
